Early Vintage Mikimoto 14k YG Genuine Akoya Pearls Cluster Earrings & Brooch Set

For your consideration is an early 1940s Mikimoto 14k yellow gold and Akoya pearl earring and brooch set.  Each earring has 4 perfectly round pearls graduating from 3 mm to 5 mm set in 14k yellow gold and signed with the Mikimoto symbol but very difficult to capture on camera because the symbol is so tiny.  They each measure just under 3/4 inch.  The brooch is a ffloral design with 14 pearls ranging in size from 6.5 mm to 4 mm.  It measures 2.5" long and weighs 10 grams. It too is signed with the Mikimoto symbol.  The pearls have a very good lustre with silver and slight gold overtones.  Altogether the weight is 15 grams.  The box shown in the pictures is not the original box.
