This is an amazing and early Czechoslovakian necklace, made with either Marano, or Czech goldstone and ribboned satin glass beads. This is a very long and heavy strand, measuring 31” long, weighs just under three ounces, beautifully designed, great colors, exceptional quality beads, and finished with all brass components, all having nice patination, the ring clearly marked “Czechoslov”, an early abbreviation. The size, quantity, and quality of the beads used on this necklace blow me away. The satin glass beads have a wrapped ribbon / spiral appearance, nice deep saturated blues, and the background of the round beads is a little softer, leaning a little more towards periwinkle. Each bead is spaced with a French cut faceted bronze colored seed bead. A truly amazing and outstanding old necklace. Guaranteed authentic.
